 We decide to establish the “Best Simulation Hardware” Award, only for the devices we have tested and reviewed. There are no strict criteria because we believe that these kind of devices have many differences. We can measure the performance of a graphic card and compare to another one. But we can’t do this when it comes to a joystick, for instance some people like force feed back , others like the configuration capabilities.
The criteria we look to decide are the following, and we believe that the cover the majority of simulation enthusiasts :
- Quality
- Accuracy
- Configuration capabilities
- Price
The devices we looked to are:
And the winner is Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog
We would like to add here, that there were no issues during our testing with the above devices. Everything worked fine from the box to the time we had to returned them.
A few words to compare the above kindred devices:
G940 vs Warthog
G940 is a complete system in a reasonable price. Comes with pedals , good quality plastic and very accurate. On the other hand, Warthog comes without pedals but is made of metal , has endless configuration capabilities and is the most accurate Joystick we have ever use.
Force™ 3D Pro vs T.16000M
Very good and fair systems. T16000M using HEART Technology is very accurate and 3DForce™ 3D Pro is less accurate but has force feed back.

Το Touchbuddy (ΤΒ) είναι μια εφαρμογή που «τρέχει» σε windows και μας παρέχει ένα γραφικό περιβάλλον για να χειριζόμαστε παιχνίδια αλλά και άλλες εφαρμογές με την χρήση μιας οθόνης αφής (Touch screen).Μια τέτοια οθόνη δεν είναι εντελώς απαραίτητη ούτε για την δοκιμή αλλά ούτε και για την δοκιμή ή και για την χρήση, καθώς το πρόγραμμα μπορεί να λειτουργήσει με δύο διαφορετικά PC σε δίκτυο ή στο ίδιο σε διαφορετικά παράθυρα.
